I feel bad as well for the animals and reefs as well as all the fishermen and their families and the 11 who died in the explosion and those rescue workers who are getting sick as we speak. You said you wished there was something you could do...perhaps you could volunteer out there and lend a hand in one of the coastal states.  One of the easiest and most important things you could do is get informed of what exactly is going on there.

Congressional investigations are revealing that BP knew of flaws in the rig and went against the safety engineers wishes when finalizing the construction of the Deepwater Horizon (http://www.nytimes.com/2010/05/30/us/30rig.html?pagewanted=all ) .  It has now come out that the CEO of BP (Hayward) dumped 1/3 of his BP stock in the months prior to the explosion and that Goldman Sachs (one the largest holders of BP stock and has numerous ties to BP) dumped 44% of it's BP stocks 2 weeks before the disaster (http://rawstory.com/rs/2010/0602/month-oil-spill-goldman-sachs-sold-250-...) As well...learn about Corexit 9500, the toxic dispersant that is being dumped all over the Gulf to make the oil gusher a little less visible on the surface and actually makes it harder to vacuum up afterwards (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/06/10/chemical-dispersants-what_n_607...).  This toxin is WORSE for the wildlife than the crude oil.  And guess what??  When the storms and hurricanes come soon, they will pick up the oil, the Corexit 9500, the methane and other toxic gases that are bubbling up from this deep well (much more dangerous than crude oil which is fairly harmless) and dump it all over the coatal states and up further north along the east coast.  They say there are 4 billion gallons down there potentially which means 4 years of solid gushing.  

Consider as well that Halliburton Corp. (of Iraq war infamy....Dick Cheney's baby) had purchased a company in the Gulf whose main purpose is disaster relief and oil spill cleanup 11 days before the explosion (http://rawstory.com/rs/2010/0618/halliburton-making-money-oil-spill/)   ha!!!!!   

Also remember that BP was one of Obama's main backers during his campaign (http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE64420A20100505).  This is not to say I think Republicans are great and Obama is a kook.  No, both sides are controlled by the same BANKING INTERESTS who have a grip worldwide on economies and politics and are looking to fully destroy the US to finish mopping up countries for their world government system.  Hard to believe?  Read your history books.  It is the same story over and over again.  The sickos get control of the levers of power and seek to enslave humanity and conquer the world.  Why?  Because there are sick people out there.  Why do people rape or kill?  They are sick.  History is full of dictators and slaves.  Freedom is a very precious and rare gift and one your forefathers fought and died for.  The Declaration of Independence was against the exact type of system that has been rolled out in the US since 9.11.  The Constitution practically no longer exists.

So what do they have to gain from this oil disaster?  Well, for one thing BP's competition whom have spent millions upon millions setting up their own rigs in the Gulf will lose big time with the moratoriums (luckily blocked by a good judge!) and will be forced out of business.  As well, Obama can push forward with the grand carbon tax scheme in the name of environmental disasters (http://www.prisonplanet.com/obama-to-push-nightmare-carbon-tax-in-oval-o...).  BP will get a little slap on the wrist and will probably be demanding as bailout by US taxpayers by the end of the year (or from the World Bank....which is financed mainly by US taxpayers). It also serves as a great political distraction while Israel threatens to start World War III by attacking Iran and the US is ready to back them up (http://rawstory.com/rs/2010/0627/report-warships-stationed-iranian-coast/).  George Washington told us 'no foreign entanglements!!!!!''  And when the hurricanes pick up this mess and dump it on US shores, it will be a great time to roll out the military and have a 100 times worse than Katrina police state disaster in early fall.

Revive State's Rights... 9th and 10th amendment give ALL POWER TO THE STATES AND THE PEOPLE!!!   We were not meant to live under a federal government dictatorship and if we refuse to accept it....it doesn't have to be this way!  If we don't refuse...prepare to live in a 3rd world police state!    Vote out ALL INCUMBENTS and realize that right and left are simply two arms of the same political machine.  It is not football!!  You don't win by having your representative win an election if he simply continues the policy of the other guy!  

Wake up your friends and neighbors.  Get ready for craziness!!!  But enjoy it... we are living in very historic times.  We are on the verge of the 2nd AMerican Revolution OR the complete destruction and fall of the American Empire.    

Learn as much as possible and realize these Banker SCUM are just like the Wizard of OZ.  Pathetic little criminals hiding behind their big Mainstream Media mouthpieces and unbelievable wealth.  They are not invincible and can and should be defeated.  Let's put them on trial and let the people decide what to do about their crimes.  They are Enron times 1000.  Pure evil!!!  Gangsters.  Banksters.
