hello all,

anyone ever brought a board (short) on nature air? is it reasonable? if not whats the cheapest most reasonable way to get to nosara?  I have family there so i don't want to rent a car at the airport and be stuck with it for 2+ weeks, way too expensive and unneccessary, if anyone's got any advice tips I would greatly appreciate it!!! thanks everyone!

The jerks (well, one manager in particular) at Nature Air charged me $40.00 for my bodyboard!  It's the same charge for a surfboard or golfclubs.

When I flew with SANSA back to San Jose they didn't charge anything.  They probably do charge if there is a lot of people though. In my experience, SANSA has better planes, better service and they fly out of the main airport.

You can rent a car, and drive it one way for about $70.00 plus a $50.00 drop off fee ($120.00 all in).  National rent a car has an office right in Guiones.  I'd reccomend getting the GPS for an extra $8.00; it'll tell you exactly how to get here if you've never driven before (where and when to turn etc...)... it works great.
