We started out at the Villa Taeype (now the Harmony Hotel) and there was very little in the way of conveniences. But the waves were good and everyone was friendly. We fell in love with the area and kept coming back every year. We have seen the area change tremendously –all for the better (no more nightly power outages at sunset - when everyone came in from surfing and overloaded the system.)
