After visiting Nosara several times over a 4 year period we decided it was time to invest in a home away from home. Erik showed us many different possibilities and answered all our questions we had regarding taxes, insurance, attorneys, property management and closings. Our new residence is within walking distance to the beach and we could not be any happier. We admire Erik's enthusiam and professionalism and would highly recommend him to anyone.
You want to buy a piece of surf paradise – then Erik is your source.Our family has been coming to Nosara for the last 10 years. We started out at the Villa Taeype (now the Harmony Hotel) and there was very little in the way of conveniences. But the waves were good and everyone was friendly. We fell in love with the area and kept coming back every year. We have seen the area change tremendously –all for the better (no more nightly power outages at sunset - when everyone came in from surfing and overloaded the system.) Every year we talked about buying a place and watched as everything grew in value and price. I checked the waves everyday on the Surfing Nosara web site while at home in Florida and decided to contacted Erik to look at some places on our last trip.Erik was great he showed us all the different locations we wanted to check out and gave us an insider’s view of all the different properties. He was very honest and discussed all the good and bad points of the places we wanted to look at. This was very helpful since there were a lot of things we didn’t know as “out of towners”. Needless to say we bought our piece of paradise and so did my neighbor and his family, who were down there at the same time as our family. The process was easy as Erik and his people streamlined everything for us. We even closed on the property without having to return to Costa Rica for the closing. I felt safe having Erik represent us to the seller and in our case, the lender as well. He did such a good job negotiating our offers; we couldn't have done better ourselves. During the process, he helped us to feel as if we were physically in Costa Rica. We did not skip a beat. He spoke clearly to us and made process understandable. There were no surprises with Erik. Erik was able to help us understand the intricacies of investing and developing property in Costa Rica. When we decided to make Playa Guiones our new home we needed guidance. We love the area, the beach, and all of the people. We went to quite a few realtors in the area for help with a price range and location in mind. Unfortunately we had no luck finding our little dream home. On a Sunday afternoon we found the answers to our prayers! We told Erik what our budget was, and what areas we liked and he knew immediately where to take us. I met Andrew when he came to inquire about renting my house. He did rent my house which was for sale. He also sold my house for me. I found him easy to work with, he was good about returning phone messages & emails, & keeping me informed as to what was happening. The house he rented was in Costa Rica & I live in the US, so this was important. He handled the sale without any problems. I found him to be honest, personable & efficient.

On our first visit to Nosara from France last year we arrived for a fact finding mission on local property and future purchasing. We left 8 days later having signed a contract to purchase a plot.
