Ideal surf location- just steps to the beach!  Share our dream get-away.  Casa de los Arboles consists of 2 separate, complete, one bedroom apartments, with one above the other. The apartments can be rented together or separately.  From Casa de los Arboles, you can walk to the beach...and everything else that you need!

Casa de los Arboles consists of 2 separate, complete, one bedroom apartments, with one above the other. We think this is an ideal vacation spot because you can stay in the jungle but you are right next to the beach, and from Casa de los Arboles, you can walk to everything you need. The apartments can be rented together or separately.  Both have private entrances, full kitchens, covered outdoor space, and bathrooms with separate bedrooms. 

We call it Casa de los Arboles or, the Tree House, because it was built on the edge of the lot, near a stream, surrounded by native jungle. We bought this lot and built this little house so we could vacation and surf without a car, away from the noise of town but close enough to enjoy the everyday comforts we are used to. We kept the size small to avoid cutting trees and to preserve the natural landscape for its other inhabitants.

House details: Both apartments are fully furnished and come with  air conditioning, hot water, ceiling fans in all rooms, closets, a full kitchen, a futon couch, hammocks for the balcony, quality sheets and towels, and more. The upstairs apartment is approximately 600 square feet and the downstairs is about 1000 square feet. Upstairs there is a six foot wide balcony on two sides from which you can see monkeys, nature, and the ocean. Downstairs there is a large covered veranda off the kitchen which backs up to the jungle. Both patios are covered, lighted and come equipped with hammocks for maximum relaxation!

Guiones details: The beach, Playa Guiones, is about 1/2 block or 200m away. Guiones town is about 4 blocks away. Guiones beach is a 4 mile long, pristine beach, home to amazing surfing waves as well as tide pools, incredible shells, great fishing and lots of wildlife. The waves come in all sizes and are great for both learners and rippers. Guiones town  has excellent restaurants, bars, shops, surf shops, and a friendly vibe. It is  easy to rent bikes and surfboards in town and there is an internet cafe there with cheap international calls, high speed internet, video rentals, books, bikes and boards.  There are also at least 3 surf schools in Guiones. The Nosara Yoga Institute is very close (10 min walk) and offers top notch yoga classes in an open air, jungle setting and they also give teacher training courses. Ostional Beach (30 minute drive or taxi ride) is a famous giant turtle nesting ground.
