Included in Shangri La’s prices are air conditioning in the living room and bedrooms, deluxe bedding and linens, private 8’ deep swimming pool with diving board and built in jacuzzi, outside shower and custom coralina stone sun patio, living room with 42” flat screen tv with dvd player, Sky satellite tv, internet, telephone, ceiling fans, deluxe kitchen with stainless steel appliances, laundry room with washer and dryer, beach towels, fully fenced property with automatic gated entry, secure parking for 2 cars, and much more! It is situated just 100 meters south of the Harbor Reef Hotel, making Shangri La just a few minute walk to the main surfing beach of Playa Guiones.

Shangri La has 3 bedrooms (2 master bedrooms) and 3 bathrooms. The first floor great room has a cathedral ceiling with teak pole rafters and monitor giving the home a real pura vida feeling. The kitchen is open to the living area and is separated from the dining area by a nice bar top with barstools. The hardwood dining table in the dining area has seating for 6. The living room is comfortably furnished with a sofa and love seat. The covered front porch overlooks the pool and is surrounded by beautiful gardens filled with a wide variety of lush local flora.

There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor. The first floor master is a large bedroom privately located down its’ own hallway and includes a king size pillow top bed, separate single pillow top bed, cedar clothes closet, and private fully tiled bathroom with 2 vanity sinks, and linen closet. The second bedroom downstairs has a deluxe queen size bed and a large lockup closet with steel door for the protection of valuables.

A spiral staircase takes you to the second floor where you will find a second living area in the large loft that overlooks the great room below. This loft area has a single pillow top bed and a second living area with tv/dvd player. Upstairs, entered by a hallway from the loft is the 2nd master bedroom. This bedroom has a king size Temper Pedic bed and beautiful cathedral teak pole ceiling with monitor. A sliding door leads out to a private balcony overlooking the jungle. It has a private bathroom that includes a cedar linen/clothes closet.

This home is in the exclusive “J” section of the American Project just a short walk to the white sand beach of Playa Guiones. A 10 minute walk will take you east to the yoga institute, south to Guiones Sur, north up to and around the point to Playa Pelada, or to restaurants and local shopping.
Crib with linens, high chair, and gas BBQ grill available upon request at nominal extra charge. Check in time is 3pm on check in day to 10 am on check out day. Prices listed are for up to 6 people, each additional person $90 per week extra.
