There are many different ways to raise money for non-profit foundations. They range from huge galas and sit down dinner balls to 10K races and even Hot Dog Eating Contests. Well, now the Surfing Nosara Foundation has one more unique one to credit - a tropical themed Keg Party in the middle of a blizzard!

Richard Jordan from Tica Massage/Nosara Workout Gym is going to donate one dollar from every massage that Tica Massage does this season to the Surfing Nosara Foundation. The money will be deposited into our Foundation account and will be used for the various projects that we do for the local schools.

On Monday, November 30th. We went out to Serapio Lopez Escuela in Nosara (next to the airport) to get an update on the school's progress with the Proyecto Limpieza. This school and its children have been one of the most active participants in the project and we are so grateful for their efforts!

Last week, on November 19th, members from the Surfing Nosara Foundation visited three local area schools – Las Delicias, Esperanza and Garza to follow up on the Proyecto Limpieza.
