On July 31st, the Surfing Nosara Foundation crew visited two of the local churches of Nosara to deliver donations that were brought to our office by many generous friends and visitors. These donations consisted of clothes, kitchen supplies, food (rice, beans and others) and other domestic items that will directly benefit the families, and people in need which these churches have identified throughout their community outreach groups.

Iglesia del Mar, a small church group in Playa Guiones, has created an on-going campaign to collect food and any other basics items. Then give it to the people in need from Nosara.

Even though the Surfing Nosara Foundation concentrates mostly on positively affecting the local schools, it also receives any donation that could be designated towards the local people in need.
