Sept 8th, Waist to head high sets

Welcome, todays surf running in the waist to head high range. Not the biggest swell but a good mid tide, offshore wind and good swell direction all working together this morning to produce some pretty fun waves. High this afternoon at 5:11 so we should see another fun mid tide push. Surf forcast looks about the same for the rest of this week with a more south swell this weekend.

Enjoy, and check facebook for even more photos _james

Sept 4th, Waist high with some improvement

Good afternoon, not much to say today. Continued small conditions today with expectations of better surf to come tommorrow. We are just now into the rainy season and if you like having the beach all to yourself today was a great day to be there, the rains are still holding back alittle so the mornings are still great. The locals and residents are still having a great time in this small surf and relaxing on the beach with the kids and family. Low tide was at 8:40 this morning with high this afternoon at 2:50pm.

Hope you enjoy the pics see you in the surf _james

Sept 3rd, Size improves, Real Surf is Back

Good afternoon everyone. Surf seems to be improving a bit today... there were some chest high sets to be had and the wind stayed offshore for most of the morning. Some of the guys who have been here all week were nothing short of stoked to get a few real waves before they leave.

It looks some swell is coming this weekend so stay tuned as it should fill in tomorrow and make for a fun weekend...

Have fun,

Brandon

Sept 2nd, Guiones receives lake classification

Good morning everyone. Surf this morning is still pretty small in the knee to waist high range with maybe a chest high wave that came through as the wave of the day. Of course, some of the local guys were still throwing buckets and speeding down the line. It seems to be a bit better than yesterday so maybe we will see an improvement as the weekend comes around.

Enjoy the photos as the light was great this morning and the water was blue...

Have fun,

Brandon

Sept 1st, Smallzville Guiones

Good afternoon everybody. We've got small surf continuing here in Guiones today. Even some of the boys who never ride retro equipment are using it today. Stay tuned to see if we get a bump in our swell. Not very likely for the next day or so, so breakout the longboards and fishes until we see something come up. Andrew, out.

August 31st, Small stuff

Good afternoon. We're in a small pattern this week it seems. All the reports point to similar conditions through the week. Looking like fish and longboards will be the optimal equipment, unless you weight less than 130lbs. Great news is, our weather is still awesome for the end of August. People are saying we're back to El Nino (keyboard has no tilde), which will make for a dryer rainy season. We'll see. Andrew, out.

August 29th, Tiny surf

Good afternoon, I wouldn't call it zero stars but it's close. We had small surf this morning running in the waist high range. High tide this morning at 9:37 and low will be at 4:00 this afternoon but not alot of tidal movement today and wind is not a factor. It's super tiny for Guiones and tommorrow looks to be the same. If you need to get wet bring the fish because you can still catch a little something.

August 28th, Fun Chest High Surf and Offshores

Hey guys, surf this morning was small but super fun and a bunch of folks had a chance to break out the fish or the longboard. We had waist to chest high surf and offshore winds until about 9am when the wind switched offshore. The surf stayed fun for most of the morning after that.
