August 27th A touch smaller, but hanging in there

Good afternoon everyone. Andrew here again with your afternoon update with this morning's photos. James took his usual 1,300 shots today and a few came out nicely. Lots of action in the water today. You had to wait for the sets though, as the swell is starting to back down. We should see a couple more days like this as it drops off. See you in the water.

August 26th We've still got surf!!

Good afternoon everyone. We've got continued surf today and it should stay like this for the next couple of days. There are some great sections to be had if you're in the right spot. Conditions were a tiny bit mixed up, but fun overall. Tonight we'll hope for a glass-off. Andrew, out.

August 25th, A good day here

Hello Folks - Rich bringing today's report with the news surf today was super fun with great conditions... I was having a great time till leash broke & had to swim in. Good news is got to watch my friends putting on a good show out there as you will see below in the photos. Enjoy & get out there if you can. Peace out - rich

August 24th Well overhead cranking surf

Good afternoon everyone. Our surf is on the heavier side today. Grab your bigger board and grow a pair if you want to get slotted. We should see this continue for the next several days. Andrew, out.

August 23rd - Fun Surf

Good Morning Everyone,

The surf is fun today... Winds offshore late into the morning & clean surface conditions. A couple of barrels to be had if you were in the right place. Low tide 10:40AM so dropping all morning... Pics are from 7AM or so, before too many people got on it. If winds stay offshore we might have a pretty incredible day here in Guiones. Evening sessions have been pretty fun past couple days too so get out there tonight if you can. Decent swell holding next several days... Enjoy

Peace out - Rich

August 22nd, Decent swell still with us

Good afternoon everyone. Andrew here with your afternoon report. The surf is continuing to fill in, although the conditions are less than ideal with a bit of a swirl in the water along with local winds coming onshore early. There are periods when it goes slack, but you just have to be there. Our rainy season is in full-swing, and we've been getting daily afternoon downpours, and today looks to be no exception. We should see continued surf through the next week. Hopefully things will improve close to shore.

August 21st, Bombs Over Guiones

As to compete with our east coast U.S. boys there is a ton of swell in the water in Guiones this morning. Some folks were scoring double overhead surf... which is a vast improvement from the last few days.

This swell should hang around for the next few days so stay tuned for the goods...

And a shout out for the East Coast boys who are super stoked right now with the Bill swell starting to hit all over. Have fun!

August 20th, Chest High Surf and a Dropping Tide

Good afternoon everyone, Brandon here... and glad to be here. After an extended stay in Michigan catching King Salmon and chillin by the lake I am glad to be here in Guiones for today's chest high surf. Kind of funny, while I was there we fished in 5-7 foot seas... it was like being on an offshore trip here in Costa.

The tide was dropping for most of this morning, the wind was onshore and a good bit of folks were out there having fun. It was a bit mixed up out there today, probably because of the impressive amounts of rain last night... but the afternoon session could glass off as

August 19th, windy

Good morning folks! Surf this morning in Guiones is in the chest to head high range but the wind is getting on it a bit... not the best morning but still some fun ones to be had... I took a day off as we have a good swell headed our way for later in the week.

August 18th, Fun Chest to Head high surf...

Good morning, waves today running in the head high range again, not quite the swell we thought was coming but good size still overall. We had clear sunny conditions at the beach today and the wind seamed to switch abit onshore but not to much of a factor. Low tide at 6:13am this morning with a midday high at 12:12, lowtide again tonight at 6:52.

If you guys need anything shoot us an email at info@surfingnosara.com and remember that we do sell our photos in the office everyday... Come on by and see James and all the great shots he got of you! E.
