9/20/09 Big Swell Hitting Guiones

Good morning everybody.  Andrew with you today early on this Sunday morning.  The swell we've been watching and waiting for has hit, although it's very stirred up this morning.  Surf size is well over-head, and there's only one guy out there giving it a go at report time.  While I've been here shooting, he's not been able to get into position for anything thus far.  It's hard to tell in the shots that it's well overhead without any surfers as a reference, but it's larger than it looks here.  Between sets the paddle is also very deceiving and it looks nice and calm, but there are some thumpers coming through.  Things could possibly get better on the back end of the pulse, starting tomorrow.  That should put things into a more manageable situation.  Watch local winds and rain.  An afternoon rain storm could put things in place nicely.  Hasta tarde.

We have some big changes happening to Surfing Nosara, going to happen this week!!! Stay tuned...
