Nosara Costa Rica Surf Report

Good Morning Everyone,

This is Rich reporting there is some surf out there but overall breaking really weak due to it almost being high tide and just having too much water in the bay. Yesterday was a pretty great day for surf throughout the day even after a really slow start. Let's hope today is the same pattern... It just depends on if the wind cooperates.

Last night's evening session was one of the better ones I've had here in a while & it wasn't just the surf. The sunset was off the charts with an explosion of color in every direction and we had a nice rainbow landing on the hill. I kept missing waves because I couldn't stop looking around at everything because there were so much to look at & it was changing colors, clouds, etc it seemed every moment.

This place has so many different faces as it always seems conditions can change in almost an instant. Last night was really cloudy & kind of gray right up till dark when the sun got under everything & the skies just lit up. The waves can go from overall boring, slow, weak conditions to firing w/in minutes... You just never know with this place. It is like they say: 'If you don't like how the waves are right now in Guiones... Just stay here and wait about 20 minutes'

Let's hope that is the case for today because early this AM the waves are weak & soft with the bigger sets that do come through closing out a bit.

Take care,
Rich
