Chest High

Buenos dias folks & T.G.I.F.! Surf today in Playa Guiones has dropped a little bit and is running in the waist to chest high range. There might be a nugget or two out there that is a bit bigger, but not much. The wind is pretty slack and almost onshore as of report time around 8:45AM. So, that is making things pretty disorganized and chunky.

Good morning from Guiones! Surf today has bumped up a little bit more and is running in the chest to head high range, maybe a tad bigger on a couple sets. The wind is slack though so it is really sectiony and closing out. So, you need to really be in the right spot, if you are though you're going to get a nice ride.

Buenos dias amigos! Well, that swell we have been waiting for is starting to show today, a day later than predicted. It is running about chest high out front this morning with some head high peaks coming in. However, the wind is slightly onshore as of report time around 8:45AM. So, that is giving it a bit of morning sickness and a lot of the set waves are closing out.

Good morning form Guiones! Surf is looking super fun this morning and is running in the stomach to chest high range with plenty of head high sets coming through. The wind is howling offshore though and has been all night. I swear we had gusts of 30+ mph last night up on the hill in Las Huacas!

It is looking similar to yesterday and running in the waist to chest high range on some of the sets, however we don't have that offshore wind like we did the last few days. The tide is close to low right now so it is a little fast, but it has some juice.

There was a massive earthquake in Chile & now there is a Tsunami alert for most of the Pacific. There are clean chest high waves here in Nosara as you can see in the video report. However, according to the National Weather Service's latest warning issued:

Surf in Guiones is in the chest to head high range and although it might not look like it is firing from the initial photos and videos, but four different people have just come back from the beach saying that is started to fire about fifteen minutes ago as I write this at 9:15AM. The wind has gone offshore and looks like it will stay offshore for a few more hours...

Buenos dias muchachos! Surf in Playa Guiones is looking really fun this morning and is running in the chest high range with some head high peaks coming through. The tide is heading into low right now so it is a little fast, but also nice and punchy. The wind is offshore now as of report time around 8:30, but, thankfully, it isn't blowing nearly as hard as the howling winds yesterday.
