Good Morning Everyone,

This is Rich reporting the winds are hard offshore & there are some zippy, thigh to stomach high waves coming through early this morning. With the low tide it actually has a little punch to it which is nice, but overall the surf is very small. Keep your eye on it mid morning to late morning as the water fills in... Crowds should thin out too.

There was a massive earthquake in Chile & now there is a Tsunami alert for most of the Pacific. There are clean chest high waves here in Nosara as you can see in the video report. However, according to the National Weather Service's latest warning issued:

Good morning everyone. Surf in Guiones is in the chest to head high range and although it might not look like it is firing from the initial photos and videos, but four different people have just come back from the beach saying that is started to fire about fifteen minutes ago as I write this at 9:15AM. The wind has gone offshore and looks like it will stay offshore for a few more hours...

Buenas folks and happy hump day! We still have some small lines here in Guiones this morning. It is running about waist to stomach high again today and is a bit mushy as we move closer to high tide this morning. The wind is pretty much dead slack this morning so it is glassy, but closing out a little bit.

Morning folks! Today the surf is pretty similar to yesterday and is only running about waist to stomach high this morning. It is pretty glassy though with a light side shore wind blowing. I was out there this morning and was one of the few frustrated ones with a short board. You will be much happier and catch more waves if you're out there on your retro twin or longboard, like most folks were.

However, the swell has dropped a little bit now and is running in the waist high range. We are pretty much at dead high tide as of report time around 8:30AM, so that is making things pretty mushy and slow out there at the moment.

Buenos dias folks! Well, we still have swell in the water, unfortunately the wind is being quite the nuisance this morning as it gusting offshore at about 20mph. It is running about chest high with some bigger sets, but that wind is knocking it down a bit and making it really hard to paddle into.

Good morning folks! We have no power in the office today, hence the late report. However, the good thing is that we still have some super fun surf in Guiones. It is running in the chest to head high range and is glassy with howling offshore winds.
