February 17th - Chest to head high with strong offshore winds

Nosara Costa Rica Surf Report

Good morning folks! We have no power in the office today, hence the late report. However, the good thing is that we still have some super fun surf in Guiones. It is running in the chest to head high range and is glassy with howling offshore winds. It is a little fast and closing out right now with the low tide, but if the wind stays offshore it could get really fun this afternoon with the incoming tide. It looks like we will have chest to head high waves for the next few days as there is a new swell filling in.

In this week's SN Behind the Business feature we highlight one of the best restaurants in town, Chandy's Il Basilico Restaurant. Il Basilico is one of the Surfing Nosara crew's favorite places to chow, especially when we are craving pizza and other authentic Italian dishes like his delicious Tuna Carpaccio! Owned and operated by Chandy, a Nosara local, Il Basilico is a spot you can't miss while you are in town.

If you folks need anything drop us a line at info@surfingnosara.com. Have a great day and if your power is out here in town...go surfing!

Pura vida,

Ryan
