February 22nd - Waist high and mushy, but nice lines

Nosara Costa Rica Surf Report

Good morning folks and happy Lunes! Hope everyone had a great weekend. Surf was super fun here in Guiones both days. However, the swell has dropped a little bit now and is running in the waist high range. We are pretty much at dead high tide as of report time around 8:30AM, so that is making things pretty mushy and slow out there at the moment. Those out there on the logs are making good use of them and are getting some nice long rides though. The wind is pretty much slack right now, maybe even a little bit onshore, so unfortunately that means that it will probably switch fully onshore here before too long. It switched yesterday around 9AM and that might be the case again today. Looking ahead it looks like this small, waist high stuff is going to continue at least for the next couple of days. We might have a bump up in swell towards the second half of the week. Stay tuned....

In today's feature, Rich recaps last night's dinner party and performance of Neil Simon's play, "The Sunshine Boys" that took place at the Clubhouse at Selvamar. They put on a great show in front of over 100 people and the reviews have been good! So, check out the write up by clicking the link in the box below.

Pura vida,
Ryan
