Buenas folks and happy hump day! We still have some small lines here in Guiones this morning. It is running about waist to stomach high again today and is a bit mushy as we move closer to high tide this morning. The wind is pretty much dead slack this morning so it is glassy, but closing out a little bit. There are some fun rides to be had out there though, especially if you are on a longboard. a fat fish or twinny. The forecasts are saying that there is supposed to be a swell filling in today in the chest to head high range. I don't see it out there yet, so hopefully it is still coming...maybe they are a day late on the forecast, which happens sometimes as well. So, it should get back up in that chest to head range tomorrow and into Friday and Saturday. Hopefully those oceanographers are right!

Today's feature is not a "Behind the Business" story, instead I wanted to give praise to the local kids who went all the way across the country to Limon this past weekend to compete in the Circuito Nacional de Surf contest. Luigi and Esteban from Nosara Tico Surf School formed the Nosara Surf Team a couple weeks ago. So this CNS contest was the team's official debut, and they did not disappoint! They absolutely killed it and came back with medals draped around their neck. So, click the link in the box below to see the results from the contest, view some of the photos, hear the story behind the Nosara Surf Team and find out how YOU too can help sponsor some of the local surfers. Shoot us an email at info@surfingnosara.com if you folks need anything. Have a great day!

Pura vida,
Ryan
