February 25th - Waist to shoulder high and clean with slack wind

Nosara Costa Rica Surf Report

Buenos dias from Guiones! The surf has bumped up a little bit out front this morning, and it is running in the waist to chest high range with some shoulder high peaks coming through. The wind is pretty dead and slack as of report time around 8:30. So, that usually means that it will switch onshore before too long, so if you are here in town get on it now! Hopefully the wind will lay down this evening so we can have a fun session, but that has not been the case the last few days as it has been pretty strong onshore for the last few evenings. Looking ahead, this swell should start to fill in more today and hold in the waist to chest high+ range for the next couple of days and then back off some come Saturday and Sunday. There could be some fun head high peaks out there though.

In this week's episode of Curious Gorman Asks the Locals, I ask some of the well-known locals in town: "What two boards would you recommend people bring down with them if they are traveling here in the next few months during our big swell season?" We get asked this question all the time, so I figured you folks might want to hear what some of us locals have to say. Check out the video below. Have a great day folks!

Pura vida,
Ryan
