February 26th, 2010: Surf is chest to head high and has some juice... get out there!

Nosara Costa Rica Surf Report

Good morning everyone. Surf in Guiones is in the chest to head high range and although it might not look like it is firing from the initial photos and videos, but four different people have just come back from the beach saying that is started to fire about fifteen minutes ago as I write this at 9:15AM. The wind has gone offshore and looks like it will stay offshore for a few more hours... Happy Friday!
Looking into the weekend there is the Ship of Fools fishing tournament in Garza. I will be fishing it with Capt. Ryan and a team consisting of his Brother Brian, my Dad and my little bro. I'm pretty sure we have the winning team, but we'll see tomorrow afternoon. I have been hearing about 80lb Tuna being caught inshore on top water lures... Sashimi anyone? Look for a blog about it in a week or so, complete with pictures of the trophy.
Our featured rental of the week is Casa la Playa, a beautiful walk to surf home in the K Section. This is one of the best vacation rentals in town, featuring three bedrooms, a nice pool, internet luscious gardens, beautiful murals and a four minute walk to beach. Click the link in the box below in order to see some more info or book the home for the next time you come down.

Also remember to check out the Curious Gorman video AND Pura Vida Videos new "Week in Nosara" vid, courtesy of our boy Dustin!

Have fun,
Brandon
