Low Tide

11:40 AM

Buenos dias from Guiones! Okay, I have some good news to bring you folks today... the surf has bumped up a little bit and is running about waist high with some chest high peaks coming through. The wind is pretty stiff offshore as of report time around 9AM, so hopefully that holds for a while. It does look fun out there right now and people are getting some nice, long rides, especially the longboarders. We have a low at 11:40, and if the wind stays off shore it could get really fun as the water drops out.

Unfortunately it looks like this is the peak of this little swell. We might have some leftovers tomorrow, but the periods start to back off. It looks like it is going to be small again for the next few days, so keep those longboards waxed up...

Our Behind the Business feature today is a follow up on last week's. This is the second part in the two part series on Nosara Wildlife Rescue. Last week I featured Sibu Sanctuary, and today I cover the other side of the partnership, Refugio Animales de Nosara. I sat down with Brenda Bombard who heads up Refugio Animales de Nosara and we talked about what her organization's responsibilities are in relation to the Nosara Wildlife Rescue partnership. We also talked about the success of their 2nd Annual Save the Howler Monkeys Fundraiser and Auction, which was a blast and raised a bunch of money. So, make sure to check out the article, video and photos below.

If you folks need anything shoot us an email at info@surfingnosara.com. Have a great day!

Pura Vida,
Ryan
