January 18th - Clean chest high swell with head high peaks

Nosara Costa Rica Surf Report

Good morning folks! Hope everyone had a great weekend and is getting of to a good start this week. The swell is still here and it is running about chest high with some head high peaks coming in as of the 8:30 report time. It is getting better right now as the tide drops out some, and the offshore wind is keeping things pretty clean.

Looking ahead for the week, it looks like the forecasters are predicting the swell to drop off starting tomorrow. So, get out there today and get some keepers!

Starting today, we've got some great new stuff hitting the site and www.facebook.com/surfingnosara. We will be having a different feature everyday from here on out...blog entries, stories, fun contests, local news and event coverage, Nosara business spotlights, the hottest real estate and vacation rentals and all the need to know info you can handle. So, stay tuned, check in all week long and let us know what you think...we always appreciate the feedback! Have a great one!

Pura vida,
Ryan
