January 25th - Chest to head high, but decieving....

Nosara Costa Rica Surf Report

Good morning folks! Well, we've started out the week with a bit of swell in the water, which is always great to see. Size wise, it is running about chest high with some head high peaks, but unfortunately, it has the power of a knee slapper. The tide is coming in right now so it is only getting more mushy. The winds are also kind of slack and as of report time at about 9:00, it feels like it is ready to switch onshore at any moment. So, of course we're thankful for the swell, now we just need everything else to align to make it fire!

Looking ahead for the first half of this week, it looks as if the swell size should hold about the same at chest to head high, but if things work out in our favor we could see some well overhead sets. So, cruce los dedos!

Today's feature in the box below is a great story from Andrew about his December fishing trip with Capt. Ryan and Agua Azul Charters. So, make sure to check that out, and if you are interested in setting up a charter when you are in town, just contact us and we will coordinate everything for you. Have a great day and see you in the water!

Pura vida,
Ryan
