Good morning from Guiones! Well, we have some lines coming in this morning, but I'm hearing on the beach that yesterday morning was a bit better. Today, it is running in the waist high range with a few chest high high peaks rolling through. It is a bit fast right now with the dropping tide, but there are some little barrels out there if you can find the right shoulder. The wind was slack early, but since then has picked up pretty stiff offshore. So, that's a good sign and we might see it hang around for a bit this morning. We are heading into a low around 10:30AM, so it should continue to get even quicker out there as the water drops out. If the wind stays offshore though you might be able to sneak in a fun lunch session...that's what I'm hoping for!
This week's Behind the Business feature is all about one of the SN crew's favorite spots, The Frog Pad. If you are ever looking for something to do like: ride bikes, snorkel, surf, watch a good movie, read a book, play a board game etc., the Frog Pad has it all for you. They are the cure to boredom! We are always dropping into the Pad to check out the DVD new releases and seasons of our favorite shows from the States. Erik admits he is addicted to 24, and I prefer some old Entourage seasons. So, check out the article by clicking the link in the box below and find out the history behind this Nosara staple, and all that they have to offer to both the tourists and locals. Have a great day!
Pura vida,
Ryan
