Nosara Costa Rica Surf Report

Hey folks,
You probably noticed that Surfing Nosara has some changes going on... There are more to come over the next couple days and as it happens we will give you the updates right away. Of course some kinks will need to be worked out along the way so bear with some growing pains for just a little while. Our first one is the photo uploads this morning... Should be fixed by the time James gets in with the real photos, so in the meantime enjoy the video report.
This first change is really just back-end stuff and moving to the 3 column layout. We have moved the entire surf report to its own page to help with the load time since James is hooking everyone up with almost 30 good resolution photos per day. If you'd like to, just click on the photo, link, or header to go right to the report page.
We welcome feedback, and love to hear what you think about where we're headed. I am excited about the changes and think Surfing Nosara is going to be a more fun, easier site to use at the end of this short road. Thanks for hanging in there with us! You guys let us live here... we don't forget that! E

On to the surf report for this morning... The waves are mixed up early this morning due to the rain from last night & the high tide at 5:43AM in conjunction with a dying swell. Don't you fret though, because all swell models are indicating we have a macking swell on the way this week just in time for the national contest here in Guiones this weekend. Swell should start hitting Wednesday with the periods increasing upwards of 16 to 18 seconds + with the full size should hitting by Friday decreasing a bit over the weekend. We'll keep you posted but that is how it looks for now... Dust off your big wave boards, practice your breathing exercises, eat your wheaties or do whatever else you need to as it is going to get pretty interesting here in Guiones later this week.

Peace,
Rich

James' Post session update, Rich was right on with his call today. Best waves today went to the long boards. Christian was out on his long board getting ready for the contest. Calling for double to triple overhead surf for the contest so Erik is encouraging everyone is his open division to go to the Tropicana Friday night, rumor has it there is free beer. " I'm kidding" Erik is not.
