Good morning everyone. This is Andrew back with you today, unfortunately with the gripe. Not fun in the humid weather, but hopefully this is the tail end for me. The surf today is very sloppy, running in the chest high range. We may see some improvement as the day goes on and the sun comes out. Early at report time we were recovering from a large storm that passed through last night with some really big thunder and lightning, followed by very heavy rain. There is some speculation of this pattern continuing through the weekend, but we'll have to wait and see. Hopefully it will clear out before the big contest. See you guys next time!

Mid morning update as of 9:30 from Rich: Surf stayed really swirly, lumpy & strange all morning. A couple nuggets came through though if you were extremely lucky & in the right spot. Highlight of the morning for certain was Erik's mistiming a lip bash & ending up doing a barrel roll. Let's hope James got that photo!
