Welcome to the new Surfing Nosara!!!  We have been working for the last 6 months and are very excited to finally launch the new site!  Brandon and I, along with Flitehaus Creative Agency in Orlando, Florida have spent over 1000 hours building a custom platform to better deliver stoke to you on a daily basis...

Jay from Flitehaus has stepped up big, and gone above and beyond... if any of you out there are looking for a sick web team, really top notch, hit him up at www.flitehaus.com. Oh, and Jay is a surfer who I met down here while he was on vacation... he was looking at real estate but sold me on a website... Thanks Jay!

Now, on the cool new things you can try out in the new SurfingNosara.com:

1.  Facebook Connect - you no longer need to have a Surfing Nosara username and password.  You can easily log in with your facebook account... This will allow you to comment on the surf reports, or whatever else you want to, and participate in the forum.

2. Commenting on Surf Reports and other pages is now Facebook commenting... This is way easier and more fun, as it lets you bring in your friends to the conversation.

3. Custom Video Player - Where before we were losing videos, we have now built a custom video player that will archive video, so you can now browse through older videos.

4. Hotels and Restaurants  - Located in the Vacation section of the site... For a couple months this summer we had Tommy Maple, a journalist from Florida, on our team secretly checking out all that Nosara has to offer and making it sound pretty for you... couple with James pro photos of all the spots and you have the most comprehensive Restuarant/Hotel guide to Nosara... We also built in Facebook Commenting to these pages, so you can give us your feedback... please do! (there are a few more that will go in over the next few days... just waiting on some photos)

5. Photo Quality - we have enlarged our photos up to 900pix, so they are officially SICK...  James is out right now, so you won't get to appreciate this one for a bit, but you will when he returns...

6. Foundation - We have a whole section for the Surfing Nosara Foundation, our community project to help the local schools one project at a time... we have highlighted some of the projects we have completed and others that we are in the process of getting going... There are going to be way for you guys to help out as well in the near future.

7. Surf Report Archives - Don't worry we still have our archive of surf reports... although this was really tricky to get over, we weren't about to let over 1000 surf report to go waste... browse here to check out conditions back to 2006...

Well, these are the surprises that I can talk about now... we have more in store for you guys, but I can't let the cat out yet...
