October 8th, 2012: Stormy weather

Nosara Costa Rica Surf Report

Good afternoon folks, this is the surf report for Guiones Beach this late morning:
After a very intense rainy night, on which the rain probably came from the ocean towards land, the conditions for surf were not good. The very few of us out there had to wait a lot to even be able to catch a wave, the water was so mushy that it was hard to identify the real wave peaks, and so waves would break surprisingly. The sets had overhead peaks though, but no wall to ride, so it was pretty much about making the drop and kick off or let the wave die a second later. We have some stormy weather right now, and will be hoping for it to get sunny again some time soon.
In a few words, good day to call it lay day!
