Wednesday March 31st, 2010: Waist high lines with light offshore wind

Nosara Costa Rica Surf Report

Good morning everyone. Well, no 2AM windy wakeup this morning... I'm stoked on that.
Surf in Guiones is in the waist high range this morning with good form. There are some long rides out there for the folks on the right equipment and some early birds are taking full advantage of the empty lineup. If you are going to paddle out, grab the longboard or fish and you will have a great time...
The town is starting to fill up for Semana Sanata and I'm sure the new highway is packed with cars heading towards the coast. Tomorrow is the official start of the holiday and this weekend is historically one of the busiest of the entire year for the Costa Rican beaches. If you are here... get ready for the camping and fun!
Have fun,
Brandon

Check out our Surfing Nosara Behind the Biz feature this week on Nosara Surf Shop in the box below. Since 2001, NSS has been supplying locals and tourists alike with all the gear you need. From rental boards to tee shirts, wax, sunglasses, leashes, boardshorts, souvenirs etc. Nosara Surf Shop has it all for you right here in downtown Guiones! They have been a big supporter of Surfing Nosara since our inception, and we really appreciate it. So, drop in the shop say hi to Mike, Pio and the rest of the crew, and tell 'em we sent you!
