Surf reports for Nosara, Costa Rica
Holy October folks! I remember sitting on the hammock last October wondering if it was physically possible for more rain to be falling from the sky... and now the skies are blue and the waves are good.
Surf is in the head high range and lining up this morning in Guiones and the locals are out there taking advantage of it...
Buenos dias folks & T.G.I.F.! Surf today in Playa Guiones has dropped a little bit and is running in the waist to chest high range. There might be a nugget or two out there that is a bit bigger, but not much. The wind is pretty slack and almost onshore as of report time around 8:45AM. So, that is making things pretty disorganized and chunky.
Good morning from Guiones! Surf today has bumped up a little bit more and is running in the chest to head high range, maybe a tad bigger on a couple sets. The wind is slack though so it is really sectiony and closing out. So, you need to really be in the right spot, if you are though you're going to get a nice ride.

It is running about chest high out front this morning with some head high peaks coming in. However, the wind is slightly onshore as of report time around 8:45AM. So, that is giving it a bit of morning sickness and a lot of the set waves are closing out.
Morning folks! Well, surf in Guiones has unexpectadly dropped a bit this morning. It is only running about waist high as of report time around 8:45AM. The wind has finally calmed down since the last few days and is actually dead out there right now. So, it will probably switch onshore pretty early today.
Good morning form Guiones! Surf is looking super fun this morning and is running in the stomach to chest high range with plenty of head high sets coming through. The wind is howling offshore though and has been all night. I swear we had gusts of 30+ mph last night up on the hill in Las Huacas!
Good morning folks and holy wind storm. The Guanacastes are blowing for the third day in a row keeping us up at night and blowing the surf away during the day. Surf is in the head high range but due to the wind is a bit hard to get into and is fairly choppy. If today is anything like yesterday the wind should calm down a bit around mid day and the surf should improve.
Buenos dias everybody and TGIF! It is super windy again this morning in Guiones and the offshores have been blowing hard all night. The swell has bumped up since yesterday though, and it is running chest to head high with plenty of overhead sets coming through. It only looks like it is getting better too as we are right about mid tide as of report time around 9:00AM.
Good morning from Guiones! Well, we have some lines coming in this morning, but I'm hearing on the beach that yesterday morning was a bit better. Today, it is running in the waist high range with a few chest high high peaks rolling through. It is a bit fast right now with the dropping tide, but there are some little barrels out there if you can find the right shoulder.

It is looking similar to yesterday and running in the waist to chest high range on some of the sets, however we don't have that offshore wind like we did the last few days. The tide is close to low right now so it is a little fast, but it has some juice.
