VILLA SHANTI - A unique experience for Body & Soul

This outstanding villa is found in a calming and charming neighbourhood on the hill of Pelada where you can hear the ocean sounds and feel the breeze. Villa Shanti is located in a calm section, where you are more protected from dust and car noise.

The Villa belongs to a German couple. They got their inspiration from their world trips to Africa, Asia and Polynesia and incorporated this into the architectural and interior design of the Villa.

Villa Shanti was built in 2019 by local artisans using an ecological emphasis and traditional building methods. The villa is built to allow cooling cross breezes to waft through the living spaces. The height of the rooms, and the ceiling made of sugar cane guarantee an excellent healthy room climate. These make for excellent conditions to live comfortably both in the rainy season and on hot days.

The house has a lot of living space with 2 terraces. Spectacular sunsets can be enjoyed from the pool deck overlooking the ocean. The lovely landscaped garden will give you a tropical feeling from the moment you arrive. The completely enclosed property offers you complete tranquil privacy, surrounded by hummingbirds and butterflies.

Stay fit by swimming your laps in the longest (almost 16 m long) saltwater pool you can find in the Nosara area. Practice Yoga, Meditation or your workout at your own space and time in your private teak wooden Yoga rancho with a great view of the Pacific.

Villa Shanti is less than a 5-minute walk to Lagarta Lodge (5- Star Resort with Spa), which offers amazing food, a lounge and a sensational view.

Pelada, the section of Nosara where Villa Shanti is located, is an excellent choice for a relaxing time away from the crowds, but still close enough to all of the amenities that Guiones has to offer.

It is only a 12-minute walk to Playa Pelada, which offers 2 alluring beachside restaurants, and a sheltered picturesque half-moon bay, where the laid atmosphere makes it the perfect place to spend the day relaxing.

You are close to one of the best surfing destinations worldwide and in Costa Rica. There is a trail from Playa Pelada that leads into Playa Guiones or it is a short 10-minute ride to Playa Guiones and Guiones Downtown.

The house is also less than a mile away from the Nosara River Mouth, where the inland river meets the ocean. A paradise for standup paddlers, hikers and kayakers who want to explore the jungle mangroves in the nature reserve. Als a great spot for birdwatchers and monkey lovers!

We highly recommend some form of transportation to fully enjoy all that the area has to offer!
