Location: Tamarindo, Costa Rica
La Vida Mar is a unique opportunity to experience the opulent lifestyle of Avellanas, the most renowned guard gated Community in Hacienda Pinilla, where a wealth of meaningful experiences will bring nature, peace, and joy together with your mind, body, and soul. La Vida Mar is on the market for the first time and has an impeccable free and clear title to the beach line.
The setting of La Vida Mar is incomparable by any other coastal property in Costa Rica. The new Flamingo Marina, which can accommodate boats of any size, is just 30 minutes away, while Tamarindo is only 10 minutes to the south. The Liberia International Airport is also only 32 miles away.
The house is situated at the most southern point of the 4,500-acre Hacienda Pinilla Community, which has a variety of amenities but is also mostly designated for everlasting preservation in order to safeguard its extensive wildlife, varied flora, and fauna. To access this estate residence, you must go past at least two guard gates.
The Premier Beachfront Point on which La Vida Mar -within Avellanas Community- is located makes it impossible to replace because there are only 8 beachfront homes and 8 non-beachfront homes in the subdivision, all of which are sold out... Because of its location, La Vida Mar has direct access to its extraordinary white sand beach, as well as 5 different World Class surf breaks, a crystal clear water river estuary, and a long extension of evergreen protected mangrove that will ensure its eternal pristine natural surroundings... not to mention the spectacular sunsets on the water every day because the house faces west!
With sand under your feet, you can travel to the renowned Lola's Restaurant location on one side and Hacienda Pinilla Beach Club on the other!
The location of LA Vida Mar is truly irreplaceable, and this home can never be duplicated; it is the one and only.
The house was built by Cordoba Construction, a reputable company in Costa Rica for more than 30 years, and was designed by renowned Palm Beach architects Colestock and Muir.
It contains two climate-controlled garages, a full climate-controlled basement, three outdoor showers, five bedrooms, and five and a half bathrooms.
The compound has a 1,000-bottle wine storage, an indoor vegetable grow room, and a massive caterpillar diesel generator, making it completely self-sufficient all the way down to the basement. Rolling gate that is fully electric is used to access and exit the property. The house has split and central air conditioning systems, as well as split units in the basement and both garages.
The best drinking water is produced by the fully built Vero medical grade water system. In the basement, there is also a five-filter system with a 10,000-liter holding tank.
The house is completely furnished; a large portion of the furniture was specifically made for it; some of the beds and the couches were imported from Restoration Hardware.
No money was spared during the construction of the complete house, which is made entirely of concrete blocks. Almost all of the furniture and fittings in the building were imported from other countries including the US, and every last detail was taken into consideration.
All of the windows of the master bedroom's wide sitting area, which is totally glassed, have pocket backs. From the luxury of the unique master bedroom, you may recline in bed or on the daybed and observe whales breaching in the ocean. His and hers toilets are in the master bathroom, and both closets serve as safe rooms. There is no need to install safes because the doors are made of stainless steel and encased in wood.
The jacuzzi has a propane heater that heats it up to 103 degrees in 20 minutes or less, and the jets are ergonomically positioned for a soothing back massage after surfing or your favorite workout... The 18-hole Golf Course, tennis complex and pickle ball courts, community gym, miles and miles of off road bike tracks and hiking trails, unspoiled sandy beach for joggers and runners, large horse stables for equestrian enthusiasts and all owners to use, and, of course, the clean ocean and river waters to practice surfing, stand up paddling, canoeing, and more are all available at Hacienda Pinilla.
The basement bedrooms are entirely made of stained concrete, while the main living area's floors are all imported Italian marble. Dragon Wood, one of the rarest hardwoods, makes up the entire upstairs floor. There isn't any more Dragon Wood available; this particular piece was recovered from the Panama Canal's floor during expansion, and only one other house in the nation has it. The owners ordered more Dragon wood, had some furniture constructed to order, including a 12 person dining room table.
The staff at the home is VERY reliable. It has been meticulously maintained since it was completed, with a head of maintenance working five to six days a week to keep the estate looking perfect. An indoor housekeeper who spends five days a week organizing and cleaning everything on the inside. The original builder handles major maintenance, such as yearly staining of the wood flashing outside, as well as a list of other outdoor and indoor projects on a yearly maintenance schedule.
On the property, there are orchids, Pavones lime trees, a large mango tree, and a few other citrus trees.
