Harbor Reef, aside from housing the beautiful and talented massage vixens Francela and Jesse, is one of the oldest hotels in the whole Nosara area. Harbor Roof is rated by Surfing Nosara as Chest High (CH) for the fact that the prices are well above the lowest rung in the Nosara area but nothing at Harbor Reef is really over-the-top ostentatious.  Harbor Reef is a great place to stay close to the beach for a family or for couples, as the resort is the closest accommodations to the main Guiones beach entrance. Walk to surf, of course - and the walk is really short.

An added bonus of staying so close to the main beach entrance is the proximity to the new café Beach restaurant. Add to that equation the excellent food at the Harbor Reef hotel restaurant and you have two great places to eat within about two minutes of your hotel room.
