Panchos Hotel at Playa Pelada in Nosara, Costa Rica

Pelada is the last area of what people call “Nosara” before the road actually takes you into the town of Nosara, and the small community of Pelada seems to be built around Pancho's. Surfing Nosara is on record stating that the burritos at Pancho's cannot be graded anything less than the finest in the whole Western Hemisphere, and their Mexican food is all excellent.  However, Pancho's complex also houses a bustling general store/groceria and a series of bungalows that serve as the heart of the Pelada hotel district.

The grounds at Pancho’s are lush and green, and the stones and landscaping give it an easy tropical vibe. Surfers will be immediately comfortable in the Pancho's complex, especially after a full meal and a morning of waves. Families and couples who stay at Pancho's should be aware that Pelada is a little ways from the Guiones downtown, and should rent a car, quad or golf cart to get around.

Surfing Nosara rates the accommodations at Pancho's in the White Water (WW) zone because it is economy-priced and sports a simple vibe. Stay at Pancho's and walk to surf from a place everyone visits, yet never seems too crowded or loses that relaxed natural feel.
